Where am I?
Welcome to Fontbonne! We’re glad to have you here. We realize that transfer students have different needs than freshmen and we want to do everything we can to make sure you have the information and support you need to make an easy transition. If you have any questions about how to get things done or how Fontbonne works, please stop by the Academic Advising office in Ryan 107 or contact us at Academicadvising@fontbonne.edu. You may also reach us by phone at (314) 719-3654.
We will be happy to help you or to direct you to wherever you may need to go. For specific questions about admission or transcripts, check out the Transfers section of the site, under Admissions. For frequently asked questions, please visit our FAQ page.
Upcoming Important Dates:
New Student registration for the Fall semester begins mid-April and for the Spring begins in mid-November. For more information on how to enroll, please contact the Admissions Office at 314-889-1400 or follow the link to their page. For a complete list of dates, please refer to the Academic Calendar listed in the current semester's Course Schedule available online or in the Registrar's Office.
Keep up with your academic progress!
Faculty report academic development for students through Early Progress Reports two weeks before the mid-semester point to the Registrar's Office every fall and spring semester. The names of students who receive one or more unsatisfactory reports will be sent to the office of Academic Advising and to the student's academic advisor for intervention and assistance. Providing early feedback on students' progress facilitates student success.
Seek out someone on campus who has been here for a while and can help you – an instructor, an advisor, a staff member, or an upperclassman. This can be an important part of your transition to college.
Join a club, go to a game, participate in a community service event. A list of programs is available from Student Activities. Watch for e-mail and signs on campus about upcoming events.
Check your Fontbonne e-mail on a frequent basis!
You will receive important information about upcoming events and opportunities. If an instructor or advisor is trying to get in touch with you, e-mail is easiest way to do this. Don’t miss out on an important message.
