Fontbonne and St. Louis Community Colleges Team Up on Transfer Program

Through a new partnership between Fontbonne University and St. Louis Community College (SLCC), business students can now seamlessly complete their bachelor's degree. The two institutions have launched a new 2+2 program in which qualified SLCC business students are guaranteed acceptance to Fontbonne, a nationally ranked four-year university.

"We are excited because we know the St. Louis Community College students coming to Fontbonne will have all of their core courses completed, enabling us to have increasingly sophisticated discussions in the classroom," said Linda Maurer, Fontbonne's dean of business. "2+2 provides students with a plan for how to finish their degree and gives them a mechanism with which to familiarize themselves with Fontbonne and get a sense of the university before they arrive."

SLCC officials also believe the formalized partnership will provide more transfer options to their students.
