2010 Carondelet Lecture Series Welcomes Dr. M. Shawn Copeland

The Fontbonne University 2010 Carondelet Lecture Series welcomes Dr. M. Shawn Copeland, associate professor of theology at Boston College, for an evening of insight and exploration, Thursday, Oct. 20 at 7:30 p.m. Copeland will discuss "African American Culture and Happiness" at the annual event, which is free and open to the public.

The event will take place in Doerr Memorial Chapel in Ryan Hall on Fontbonne's main campus. Its topic coincides with the university's 2010 Dedicated Semester topic, Happiness: Traditions and Tensions.

The Carondelet Lecture Series is an activity of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet Endowed Chair in Catholic Thought at Fontbonne University and is co-sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, St. Louis Province.
