Fontbonne's Writer's Reading Series Welcomes Novelist Richard Burgin

The Fontbonne University department of English and communication and the Writer's Reading Series welcome novelist Richard Burgin to campus, Thursday, Nov. 4, at 8 p.m. in the Lewis Room of the Jack C. Taylor Library. This event is free and open to the public.

A novelist and short story writer, Richard Burgin is the author of 12 books, which have earned him numerous awards, including Pushcard Prizes. His 2006 collection, "Identity Club: New and Selected Stories and Songs," was listed among this year's best books by the Times Literary Supplement. His newest novel, "River Last Longer," comes out this month. Burgin has also brought out two CD's of his original songs. He is the founder and editor of Boulevard, a literary journal now in its 25th year of publication.
