OPTIONS Honors Outstanding Faculty

ST. LOUIS – The Fontbonne University OPTIONS program, which celebrated its 20th aniversary this year, honored two faculty members with the school’s Outstanding OPTIONS Faculty Awards. The annual awards recognize two adjunct faculty members for their contributions to the college’s business programs and curriculum, involvement with the university, and exceptional student evaluations.

Jim Marchbank is a business professional with more than 14 years of Fortune 500 management experience, including positions with Exxon and International Paper. In 2008, he sold the company he owned for 27 years, Available Communications Inc., to pursue a second career in academics at Fontbonne.

Walter Eschmann ’97 MBA ’00 worked for 12 years as a complex material handling engineer at DaimlerChrysler. He began teaching at Fontbonne in 2008.

The Fontbonne University OPTIONS program offers accelerated business programs to meet the unique needs of adult students. The program was founded in 1991, initially giving students the opportunity to earn one of three business degrees in an accelerated format. Now, students have a choice of undergraduate or graduate programs, concentrations and certificates.
