BSW Alumna is New CWE Neighborhood Court Advocate

Fontbonne University alumna Carolyn Compton, Bachelor of Social Work, ’13, was recently hired as the new Neighborhood Court Advocate for the Central West End Neighborhood Security Initiative (NSI). According to their website, the Initiative, established in 2007, works closely with law enforcement, residents and businesses to “unify prevention efforts and respond more efficiently to crime as a community.”

As Neighborhood Court Advocate, Compton will work to engage Central West End Residents to provide education on safety and raise awareness of crime and crime prevention efforts in the area. She will also provide support for victims of crime and their families.
