Cyber Day Open to Biz Owners

Most small organizations don’t have the luxury of employing in-house IT professionals or contracting with cyber security vendors, yet it is imperative that they are able to equip themselves with the knowledge, skills and resources needed to protect against a cyber breach – and to protect their customers, clients and donors in the process. Fontbonne University, home to a bachelor’s degree in cyber security, is hosting an event to help these organizations.

During Cyber Security Day on Saturday, June 7, Fontbonne cyber security professors Dr. Al Carlson and Dr. Yi Yang will supply attendees with the tools and knowledge that small business owners, nonprofit professionals and independent school administrators need to protect their organizations from cyber attacks. During interactive sessions, participants will learn defensive and offensive techniques to protect data; hear about the physical security needs of their data assets; acquire the tools, resources and best practices to protect their organization; and much more.

Introductory cost of participation is $150 and includes lunch. Seating is limited, so those interested should register early.
