Where am I?

Residential Life

You won't get lost in the shuffle here!

If you live on campus, you'll find our residence halls well-equipped, comfortable, and one of the best places to make life-long friends.

We offer a community environment where you can grow in self-discipline, organizational skills, effective study habits and independent living. Our atmosphere also provides the opportunity to develop study partners, support systems and lasting friendships with a diverse group of neighbors.

  • Residents are typically more involved in campus activities

Our campus community has both traditional student rooms and suites. Standard double rooms are in St. Joseph Hall which houses mostly first time residents and second year residents. Medaille Hall is the most versatile with single rooms, suites, triple rooms and double rooms. Southwest Hall is apartment-style four-person suites on the third floor of the Fine Arts building. Current residents have the opportunity to choose rooms in the spring semester for the following fall.

  • National statistics support that residents typically earn higher gpa's than non-residents.

Priority placement is given to new applications (with a paid deposit) if received before May 1. Room assignments are sent out at the end of June. If you apply after May 1, room assignments are sent at the end of July. You must be registered for classes to receive a room assignment. Fall housing application contracts are for the full academic year.

  • Rooms are assigned based on when a student applied and how they answered the application questions!
