Bosnia Memory Project lands $100,000 humanities grant
|

|
The Bosnia Memory Project at Fontbonne University has received a $100,000 matching grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. One of 34 institutions — and the only one in Missouri — to receive one of its inaugural Humanities Access grants, Fontbonne is committed to sustaining the project’s activities, which include documenting the Bosnian war, genocide and migration. |

Degree program developed for BJC Healthcare
|

Fontbonne University is partnering with St. Louis Community College to provide degree opportunities for St. Louis’ largest employer, BJC HealthCare. BJC employees can now earn a bachelor’s in business administration from Fontbonne University once they complete an associate’s degree through St. Louis Community College. |

Join the Fontbonne community at the opening reception on Jan. 13, 2017, from 5 – 8 p.m. There will be a tribute performance by McKayla Talasek at 5 p.m. in the Doerr Chapel (Ryan Hall, second floor), immediately followed by the opening reception from 6 – 8 p.m. in the Fine Arts Gallery.

The alumni panelists, all representing different generations, will be discussing ways to advance in the workplace at different stages of your career, as well as how to develop a positive working relationship with people from all generations.

Lent is an optimal time to refresh your faith and renew your spirit with the Fontbonne University Spirituality Retreat at the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet Motherhouse. Options are available to attend daily or to stay overnight.
- Fontbonne University Easter Egg Hunt - Sunday, April 2
Alumni and their families are invited to hop back to campus for a fun-filled day! There will be hunts for different ages, crafts, prizes and a visit from the Easter Bunny!

Fontbonne Community Connection |
|
|
|
The Fontbonne Community Connection is a women’s giving circle that believes in the mission of Fontbonne University and, specifically, in the positive effect that higher education has on society. The FCC acts on these beliefs by awarding financial grants to faculty, staff, and students of the University to advance their educational goals and to promote Fontbonne University.
Membership in the FCC is open to alumnae, faculty, staff, friends and community supporters. Each member pledges $1,000 per fiscal year. Members are invited to renew annually.
