Answer: The Kinkel Center for Academic Resources at Fontbonne University, located on the second floor of the Library, is open 72 hours a week, except for University holidays, and provides testing availability seven (7) days a week. Fontbonne students are encouraged to use the online scheduler located on the Kinkel Center website. Students must contact the Kinkel Center at (314) 889-4571 at least 48 hours before the test to insure proctor availability. Students must produce a Fontbonne University ID or appropriate government-issued identification that has a picture such as a passport, driver’s license, or a military ID. 4. I am a student in an online course. How can I schedule a test in my location?

Answer: It is the student’s responsibility to identify a secure testing site and a proctor who can serve in an official testing capacity and guarantee test security. For an 8-week course the proctor must be located within the first 5 days of the course; for a full semester course, the proctor must be located within the first two weeks of the course.

A suitable proctor could be a staff person at a college or university such as the director or assistant in a learning center, a faculty member, a librarian or assistant at a college / university or public library, a professional supervisor, a supervising military officer, or a corporate human resource officer. The testing site location must be secure and the proctor must serve in an easily identifiable employment capacity. Most universities charge a fee of approximately $20 - $45 for proctoring exams from other universities unless the students are also enrolled in the proctoring university.
