Caps, Gowns, Class Rings, Announcements
All students participating in Commencement are required to wear appropriate academic attire.
Jostens will be hosting a special event in the Bookstore, first floor of Ryan Hall on March 18th, 2015, 10:00am - 5:00pm, where you can place orders for your class rings and announcements!
There will be Senior Salute Event on April 8th, 2015, 10:00am - 5:00pm in the Bookstore where you have another opportunity to purchase rings and announcements as well.
You may also purchase your cap and gown at the final Senior Salute Event in the Bookstore beginning April 13th and April 14th, 2015, 10:00am - 5:00pm. The cap and gown will continue to be available for purchase through the Fontbonne Bookstore until May 8th @ 2:00pm. Generic announcements will also be available for purchase from the Fontbonne Bookstore.
You may order personalized announcements, class rings and other commencement products from Jostens directly. Please note that custom announcements require at least 3 weeks for delivery. Class rings and generic announcements may be ordered at any time from Jostens directly.

Monday through Thursday: 9:00am - 6:00pm; Friday: 9:00am - 2:00pm Closed Saturday and Sunday
The Bookstore will be open the day of commencement for emergency purchases.
Undergraduate tassels are to be worn on the right side of the cap until the announcement is made at the ceremony to formally move the tassels to the left side. Graduate tassels are worn on the left side at all times.
The Office of Academic Affairs will notify undergraduate students who have earned graduation (Latin) honors. Latin Honors recipients are eligible to wear honor cords, which will be provided by the University, with their gowns.
The honor cords will be distributed at the Honors Convocation on May 1, 2015. All graduates that are eligible to receive honors will be sent an invitation to the event. If someone is unable to attend the Honors Convocation, the cords may be picked up from the Registrar's office in Ryan 205. Master degree candidates do not wear honor cords.
Graduate and Undergraduate candidates are invited to wear the stole and pins that they have received at the Convocation Ceremonies held throughout their years at Fontbonne University.
