Guest and Ticket Information

Great news!  We have made arrangements for the video stream of the graduation ceremony to be available in the comfort of your home!  This will be extremely helpful for those family members that may not be able to attend in person.  Below is the video link that can be used on Saturday to video stream the graduation ceremony directly.

Guest tickets will be required for entrance and seating in the Dunham Student Activity Center (DSAC) in the designated areas on the gym floor; in the bleachers; or in the Alumni Caf' on the second floor where the ceremony will be simulcast on closed circuit television.  Children age two and over are required to have a ticket.

Students must have submitted the on-line RSVP by May 1, 2015, to be able to participate in the ceremony and receive guest tickets.Tickets will become available beginning May 4, 2015.  All guest tickets will be available at the main campus in the Student Affairs Office, Medaille Hall.

Graduates receiving their Master's degree that have submitted the on-line rsvp will be able to receive guest tickets.  Graduates receiving their Bachelor's degree that have submitted the on-line rsvp will be able to receive guest tickets. The exact number will be determined in spring of 2015 depending upon the anticipated number of graduates that we will be expecting.

If additional tickets are desired, the graduate may request additional tickets when picking up their original guest tickets.  There is no guarantee that additional tickets will become available.  The decision to issue additional tickets to those that have requested them will not be made until Monday, May 11, 2015.  If available, these tickets will be available to those notified by the Student Affairs Office for pick up in their office May 12, 2015 through May 15, 2015 when the office closes at 4:30pm.

There will be two ceremonies on Saturday, May 16, 2015.  10:00am for all students receiving their Masters Degree, 2:00pm for all students receiving their Bachelors Degree.  

Guests need to be in the DSAC and seated no later than 15 minutes prior to the ceremony.  Please note that the entrance doors to the DSAC will be closed 15 minutes prior to the ceremony time to allow the graduates and platform party to enter.   In order to keep distractions to a minimum, there will be no access to the gym seating after the processional of graduates and platform party begins; this will include those who have requested to sit in the special seating area.  If there is available seating in the Caf' on the second floor at that time, guests will be escorted to the second floor.   When capacity has been reached in the Caf' area, any additional guests will be directed to the on-campus video-stream area located on campus in Doerr Chapel, Ryan Hall.  Please be sure that you make your guests aware of these time constraints and seating arrangements before they arrive on campus.

Special seating for the ceremony can be reserved for guests in wheelchairs, with hearing impairments or other special needs by calling 314-889-4516. Due to space restrictions, only one guest may accompany the individual in this area.  Without advance notification, we may not be able to provide special accommodations the day of the ceremony.
