The 14th annual Carondelet Lecture brings Dr. Jason King, professor of theology, St. Vincent College, to Fontbonne University on Oct. 4. King, the author of “Faith with Benefits,” will explore “Sexuality, Hookup Culture and Catholicism.”
“Catholic campuses can help support students’ resistance to hookup culture and enable them to pursue more of what they truly desire,” said King. “But to do so, these colleges and universities need to understand hookup culture as a social justice issue, one affecting human dignity and solidarity.”
The lecture, one of many events exploring Fontbonne’s 2018 Dedicated Semester theme of family, is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required.
