In regards to Financial Aid, our goal is to match the net price students are paying at Fontbonne. We are asking theindividual students to provide a copy of their 23-24 financial aid and charges from Fontbonne. Many of the students are not living on campus at Fontbonne, but they will be required to live on campus at Westminster because they are not close enough to commute; therefore, the gap is much greater when we are comparing the net price. We are still doing our best to meet the net price for students commuting at Fontbonne while trying to maintain a reasonable TDR for these students.
Fontbonne hasn’t awarded financial aid for the 24-25 academic year, so we are confirming what the financial aid atWestminster would have needed to be to match the net price for the 23-24 academic year. Once that is confirmed, the institutional scholarships and grants that would have been awarded in 23-24 will be awarded for the 24-25 academic year, and the charges will be the approved 24-25 costs; therefore, the net price will be slightly higher if they enroll since the 24-25 costs have already been approved by the Board and are higher than our 23-24 costs.
Westminster will accept all Fontbonne courses successfully completed with a grade of D or better. Additionally, Westminster will accept a grade of P (Passing) in a Fontbonne course for transfer credit. The residency requirement for individual Westminster majors will be waived for Fontbonne students with 75 or more credit hours. To the extentpossible, transfer credit accepted by Fontbonne University will be accepted similarly at Westminster College, upon transcript review and receipt of official transcript from credit-granting institution.
