Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics

Take your interest in mathematics in a new direction

Are you intrigued by the application of mathematics to areas outside of mathematics? Are you convinced that the combination of technology and mathematics is part of your future profession? If your answer to either of these questions is “yes,” then a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics is for you.

Applied Mathematics majors have a choice of one of the following application areas: accounting, biology, business, chemistry, computer science, cybersecurity, data analytics, education, general science, psychology, or web development and design. Our small class sizes, open-door policy for students, and easy access to resources help ensure that you get the most out of your time here.

At Fontbonne, you work closely with faculty members who serve as both teachers and mentors. We infuse technology into our mathematics courses, giving you the edge you need for graduate school or the professional world. Employers are actively seeking people who can understand and apply mathematics; if you can provide them with that background, they will eagerly train you to do what they need.
