Based on information from other states’ websites, Fontbonne has developed a guide to reciprocity with other states regarding dietetics licensure. Please note that this information is a guide only and is updated annually. The best procedure to determine reciprocity for dietetics licensure is to notify Fontbonne faculty or staff of a desire to seek dietetics licensure in a state other than Missouri. They can then assist students in determining if Fontbonne’s curriculum and Missouri’s teacher dietetics licensure requirements will meet teacher certification in a home state or a destination state.
Fontbonne Dietetics Certification programs meet the requirements for dietetics licensure in the state of Missouri. States make their own determination for licensure requirements and those requirements change frequently. Therefore, rules and regulations for dietetics licensure vary by state. Other states are not required to notify Fontbonne of any changes, therefore we cannot guarantee that Fontbonne curriculum will meet licensurerequirements in other states.
