I decided to come to Fontbonne because of the community feel right when i stepped foot on this campus. I felt like, i was at home. I wasnt sure if i was college bound at first or what i wanted to do with my life, but when i visited this campus for the first time I knew it was home. The welcoming community here, the professors before I was here as a student made the approach to connect with me and help me make an easy choice to become a griffin.
The LACE staff has been imperative in my success. They have pushed me to join different organizations. They have encouraged me not to be afraid to be my potential and my leadership. They have always supported me, both inside the organization itself and in my personal life. They have inspired me to continue to do what I love and to continue to push myself to be my best.
I am a student ambassador and the student Government Representative for Fontbonne International Student Alliance (FISA), one of the clubs at Fontbonne. The beautiful thing about clubs here at Fontbonne is you are not limited. I am not an international student, but I fell in love with the mission and the vision of FISA and applied to represent it. I also attend every event possible on campus, so I am a member of other clubs such as psychology, social work, and more.
Improving yourself by serving others is the Fontbonne way. Founded on the mission to care for the dear neighbor, this commitment to service unites all members of the Fontbonne Family. All students graduate ready to undertake the rights and responsibilities of a global citizen in today’s world.
