Support The Fontbonne Promise

Make Your Fontbonne Promise

Thank you for becoming a part of The Fontbonne Promise. You are making the dream of an education a reality.

Fontbonne Promise Partners commit to supporting one student with $10,000 per year for five years so they can graduate debt-free. When you become a Fontbonne Promise Partner, you will be paired with a student who directly benefits from your generosity.

Company gift matches, stock gifts or combined support from multiple donors are accepted.

Take the first step in becoming a Fontbonne Promise Partner today. Contact Wendi Valenti at 314-889-4712 or wvalenti@fontbonne.edu.

Economic Impact

Your gift to support The Fontbonne Promise is not only an investment in individual potential, it’s a commitment that supports the greater St. Louis community. Consider this:

  • The average bachelor’s degree holder contributes over a lifetime $278,000 more to local economies than the average high school graduate.
  • Graduates of smaller private colleges tend to be more civically-engaged than their peers at other types of institutions.
  • Seventy-five percent of Fontbonne graduates choose to stay in the St. Louis area after graduating — much higher than the 42 percent average.
  • The government and taxpayers have a strong incentive to boost college attendance and completion given the country’s challenges with growing student-loan debt. The Fontbonne Promise helps alleviate this liability for students and communities.
  • First-generation graduates of smaller private colleges are more likely to vote and volunteer time to their community than their peers from public universities.
  • Only 41.6 percent of 25+-year-olds in St. Louis have a bachelor’s degree or higher.
