SIUE will match a Teach-Out Student’s out-of-pocket Fontbonne tuition and fee cost and may charge less than the out-of-pocket tuition and fee costs, and under no circumstances will SIUE charge Teach-Out Students more than what SIUE charges its students.
All Teach-Out students will be awarded an SIUE institutional scholarship covering 50% of charged SIUE tuition. If a Teach-Out student’s out-of-pocket tuition and fees are lower than 50% of SIUE’s charged tuition, SIUE will honor the lower rate. Transfer students may apply to existing award programs such as The Cougar Pride Scholarship, The Johnetta Haley Scholarship or the PTK Scholarship to cover 50% of tuition. If a Fontbonne student is not eligible for any of those programs SIUE will grant the student an Fontbonne Scholarship with a value equal to 50% of the student’s SIUE tuition charges for up to 6 semesters.
SIUE will accept the credit hours that Teach-Out Students earned at Fontbonne and grant a degree to those Teach-Out Students who successfully complete their degree requirements at SIUE.
