March 10, 2017 — Two future Griffins received a big surprise this past week when Fontbonne University President J. Michael Pressimone arrived at their high schools with good news: They will both receive a 2017 Presidential Scholarship from Fontbonne.
Michala Clark, a senior at Vienna High School in Vienna, Ill., and Jo Bahr, a senior at Lutheran High School in Springfield, Ill., are both high academic achievers and leaders in their schools and communities. They attended a competitive honors interview day on Feb. 18 to learn more about Fontbonne and complete interviews with faculty and staff. As recipients of the Presidential Scholarship, they will each receive full tuition to Fontbonne.
