High school seniors interested in STEM majors can get a taste of science, technology, engineering and math programs at Fontbonne University on Saturday, Sept. 29, during the STEM Showcase. Faculty will be on hand to introduce each program through interactive presentations and breakout sessions.
Represented academic programs will include computer science, cybersecurity, bioinformatics, biology (including biology for pre-health professions), management information systems, medical laboratory sciences, applied mathematics and engineering (dual degree program) as well as an exercise science major (pending board approval) and Fontbonne’s One Health and data analytics minors. Participating students and families can learn about each major, explore career opportunities and tour campus facilities.
The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. with coffee and light refreshments and a welcome session, followed by breakout sessions and campus tours.
All high school seniors and their families are invited to attend. Registration is required.
