Fontbonne University offers more than 20 graduate programs that will equip you with the specialized training and hands-on experience you need to advance your career.

With small class sizes, engaged faculty and flexible learning environments (including online, in-person and synchronous distance learning), Fontbonne University’s graduate programs are designed to give you an excellent academic experience.

Admission Requirements

Application Checklist

  • A Fontbonne University Application. Complete online or by paper.
  • Proof of English proficiency such as TOEFL/IELTS/Duolingo, successful completion of English Composition at a U.S. college or university.
  • Transcripts, U.S. university transcripts must be original and sent directly from the previous school to Fontbonne University. All foreign university transcripts must be evaluated by an evaluation company. Approved services include ECE, WES, and Scholaro.
  • A Personal Statement describing your educational goals (all programs except MBA and MSCS).
  • Personal Finance, financial affidavit, and proof of financial resources.
  • Two letters of recommendation written in English.
  • Copy of your passport page.

Foreign nationals who apply while physically in the United States (visitors and transfer students from U.S. schools) must also provide these immigration documents: all past I-20s, I-94, Visa, and Transfer Form.

If admission criteria is not satisfied, additional documents may be required for a holistic review. These documents can include but are not limited to a personal statement and letters of reference.

Deadlines

  • Fall Semester (August – December): July 1
  • Spring Semester (January – May): November 15
  • Summer Semester, IEP Only (June – July): April 15
  • MS in Speech-Language Pathology (application through CSDCAS only): January 15
  • MA in Early Intervention in Deaf Education: February 1
  • MA in Deaf Education – Inclusive: February 1

All necessary documents and fees must be submitted by the deadlines, depending upon which semester you wish to enroll.
