The IT staff has successfully restored Schoology access. When you visit the Schoology site: https://fontbonne.schoology.com/
You will notice that the login procedure has changed. You will be directed to a Microsoft login site similar to that for Office 365/email. Enter your Fontbonne email and password. You should then be redirected to Schoology. Access Schoology from this direct link; do not use my.fontbonne or other bookmarks you may have.
Original Alert:
Fontbonne was hit by a cybersecurity attack on Friday, November 15th 2019. Fontbonne is well-insured for this type of event, and Fontbonne IT staff and national vendors who are experts in this attack have been working diligently to bring back critical systems. This is a complicated and time-consuming process. We are prioritizing the restoration of critical systems, but not all systems will be operational on Monday. Email and Office 365 online are functioning.
At this point, Fontbonne University intends to be open and to hold classes on Monday, November 18, as scheduled.
If the situation changes, we will send an additional update.
Schoology is not currently operational. Once it becomes operational, we will notify you, and we will ask instructors to provide reasonable deadline adjustments. Thank you for your patience.
